SCOPE OF SERVICE

  • Conduct counseling services (individual and group) with clients relevant to their needs
  • Monitor progress of clients in readjusting to the home, school, and community
  • Provide comprehensive child and family assessments (includes medical, educational, and psychological assessments)
  • Develop care plans for strengthening families
  • Train potential foster parents using the IMPACT curriculum
  • Teach classes relevant to the needs of the probationers and parents
  • Provide wrap-around services
  • Provide substance abuse assessment and drug screening

  • Assist Parents in Recognizing When Help is Needed

STEP curriculum is approved by Georgia Department of Human Resources. Parenting Instructors are STEP certified.
